BASIC BENEFITS OF OXYGEN 1. BUILDS IMMUNE SYSTEM White Blood Cells = Soldiers of the body. White blood cells use O2 (Oxygen) as their first line of defence. Without O2 the body will not be able to fight off or prevent illnesses. 2. DETOXES BODY These little lymphocytes “white blood cells” eat anything the body considers to be toxic. Like an automobile engine, the body takes fuel, burns the fuel, and expels the unburnt part of the fuel as waste. Just like a car engine that has been using the wrong fuel, a human body that has not been getting enough oxygen for a period of time, does not run efficiently and starts to “die”. Death of the body begins when the white blood cells cannot get rid of toxic waste material left behind from the use of dead fuel. When too many cells die, the whole body dies. The blood will have to carry a heavy load of sludge and keeps getting dirtier if not enough oxygen is available to clear out dirty fluids etc. (See Ozone and Water in the Body (file)). O3 (Ozone) can distinguish between friend and foe and attacks only invading pathogens or infected cells. 3. OXIDISES FOOD Oxygen (O2) is our primary source of energy. 90% of our energy comes from oxygen we breathe, and the other 10% from the food and water we consume. O2 is the required fuel to oxidise all or any of these foods (carbohydrates, sugar, fats and proteins). Carbs are turned into energy and Proteins into muscle and cellular reproduction, Shortage of O2 will result in a lower percentage of your foods being converted into energy and high percentages of your food turning into fat, cellulite and cholesterol. Which can cause heart attacks, angina, and several related irregularities, aneurisms, ADD, memory loss, decreased brain function and numerous other brain dysfunctions. 4. REPRODUCTION OF CELLS The human body contains about 75 trillion cells. Every cell in the body completely replaces itself. Without the presence of oxygen, food oxidises very poorly. This can result in premature aging (like a copy of a photocopy, it continually gets worse). Cancer cells are mutant cells. Deprive a cell of 60% of its’ oxygen and it will turn cancerous. Deprive a cell of 39% of its’ oxygen for periods exceeding 48 hours, and it may become cancerous. 5. BRAIN FUNCTION The whole body is controlled by the brain. Inadequate brain function can result in the whole body not functioning properly. Oxygen regulates all your activities. Our ability to think, feel and act comes from the energy created by O2 (oxygen). As we age, it seems that things get lost in the brain’s shuttle of information, like forgetting where we put our keys, or forgetting someone’s name, etc. Loss of memory befalls the brain when it has poor blood circulation, insufficient cerebral vascular activity, clogging of the arteries and veins, due to inadequate oxidation. When brain cells don’t receive enough O2 and nutrients, memory breaks down and fails, causing memory loss, decreased brain function and numerous other brain dysfunctions. (Neurological Disorders) 10 000 years ago O2 content in our earth’s atmosphere was 38%. 200 years ago the O2 content was over 30%. Today it is between 17% and 21%. For the body to function properly, with all 5 abovementioned benefits at the same time, we need about double the O2 available to us today!
